Gerald A. Mauriello, Jr., DPM
Dr. Gerald Mauriello, Jr. is a Board-Certified Podiatrist who has been caring for patients for more than 20 years. He combines advanced training with a down-to-earth approach, making sure every patient feels heard, understood, and supported.
Dr. Mauriello studied at Rutgers University and went on to earn his medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency in Foot and Ankle Surgery in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident, and has trained with world-renowned specialists in advanced reconstructive techniques. He has also taught future doctors and nurses as a faculty member at Temple University and New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases, in addition to serving as an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Centenary University in Hackettstown New Jersey. Dr. Mauriello completed his masters degree in Health Education at Columbia University’s teachers College and his second masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the College of New Jersey.
Dr. Mauriello has a special interest in helping patients with complex foot and ankle conditions, including those related to diabetes, injuries, and arthritis. He enjoys working with both adult and pediatric patients. His unique background in both medicine, health education and counseling, allows him to explain treatment options in a way that makes sense and empowers patients to take charge of their care.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Mauriello enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, all while spending time with his wife, four children, and their dog, Remi.
